This position is a great opportunity for the right person with excellent customer service and leadership skills. A Day in the Life as the Food and Beverage Manager

As the Food and Beverage Manager, you arrive each day ready to do what it takes to ensure the excellence of the food and beverage services at Glenwild. You oversee the Dining Room, Mixed Grill, Private Dining, Patio Grill, and all Club events requiring the food and beverage staff. You maintain Glenwild's high standards while maximizing profitability.

You seek opportunities to create memories by anticipating the needs and exceeding the expectations of our members. Some of your time is spent dealing with numbers and computers as you control the food and beverage operating budget. And some of your time is spent interacting with people as you build relationships with our members. You also use your excellent people skills as you lead by example and mentor and train your food and beverage staff in all aspects of providing 5-star service to our Members.

You take pride in your work and are passionate about providing our Members with the best possible service!


  • Previous experience in high-end dining room/restaurant/banquet management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • CPR/1st Aid Certification (if not already acquired, must acquire upon employment).
  • Food Safety Certification and Business Council on Alcohol Education Certification (if not already acquired, must acquire upon employment)
  • Ability to understand basic financial data and arithmetic functions

A college degree is preferred, but not required. Specific Private Club experience is preferred, but not required. Point of sale experience is a plus! Are you experienced with five-star service? Are you skilled at projecting a professional image? Are you dynamic, friendly, and service-oriented? Do you have excellent communication skills including the ability to listen, clarify, understand, and respond appropriately? Are you confident in making decisions after gathering the necessary information? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you patient and able to maintain your composure under pressure? Do you have a positive attitude? If so, then you just might be perfect for this position!

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring flexible and long hours, including Holidays and weekends.
